I Have the Easiest Album You’ll Ever Market

AND I’M LOOKING FOR A BUSINESS PARTNER
SKILLED IN MARKETING, DISTRIBUTION AND PUBLISHING.

THE QUICK STORY OF ME, THE SONG AND THE ALBUM

“BRING YOU JOY” is a 25 year passion project about learning how to live after the loss of my mom, who passed away when I was two.  I have no memory of her, so I could only guess at the life she wanted for me.

But the more life unfolded, the more I believed I was falling short of the happiness she wished for me, which made happiness even harder to grasp.

I began imagining our first conversation in heaven.  I pictured telling my mom about my life, day by day, and having to be honest about each day’s struggles.  Then I pictured her sadness, and that forced me to focus on healing above all else.

I healed slowly, and slowly wrote and rewrote “I Wanna Bring You Joy.”  And after 25 years, I set out to record a version for independent release.

But picking one genre and one vocalist put me at odds with what I’d learned:  We might lose the same person, but we don’t have to grieve the same way.

So I started recording multiple versions of “I Wanna Bring You Joy,” in multiple genres and multiple languages, with artists from different countries and different backgrounds.  I settled on 24 versions because I want people to know their grief will be different hour to hour, day to day.  And while you should always grieve how you need, you should never feel alone.

As the songwriter and executive producer of “Bring You Joy,” I’ve brought “Joy” as far as I can on my own.  I’m seeking a business partner skilled in marketing, distribution and publishing who can help bring “Joy” to the people who need it most.

Please preview as many tracks as you’d like, and if you wish to reach out for any reason, please

do – I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Why this album will be the easiest you’ll ever market

*With its diversity of genres and languages, “Bring You Joy” fits into every radio format and every playlist at once. This means you can release 24 singles for the price of one.
*Traction in any one format can translate into traction in all formats.
*Because grief is always relevant, “Bring -You Joy” will always be relevant, even after its initial release. From an investment standpoint, “Joy” has the potential for the perpetual spins and streams of a Christmas song.
*With 25 artists from 11 countries, local, national and international marketing opportunities are in the DNA of “Joy”.
*6 of the artists on “Joy” are bilingual, and 1 is trilingual. So with a simple recutting of the vocals, the “24 singles for the price of one,” becomes “31 singles for the price of one.” Having duplicate versions in both the artists’ native tongue and in English increases the reach of “Joy” in their home countries and abroad.

Charitable Intentions

*I’ve registered a charitable foundation to which I will donate an undetermined but respectable portion of proceeds.  From there, my intent is to financially support agencies offering front line mental health services.  Utilizing streaming and download data, I’d like to channel the donations back to the communities that are embracing “Joy.”

*Using CharityNavigator.com, I’ve already flagged multiple vetted organizations in the US, ranging from college funds for children of Fallen Heroes, summer camps serving children who’ve lost loved ones to cancer or suicide, veterans charities, and hospice organizations with after care services for the living, just to name a few.  Riani Sovana, the vocalist featured on the Indonesian version, has worked with an organization in Indonesia called “Into The Light,” whose mission is suicide prevention.  Donations raised from Indonesian royalties would go there.

*While this philanthropy is truly genuine, each donation will provide additional marketing opportunities to help extend the life and reach of “Joy”.

soundbetter and spotify

I discovered and hired 21 of the artists on “Joy” on a platform called SoundBetter, which was purchased by Spotify in 2019. The more success “Joy” achieves, the more SoundBetter and Spotify can and should take credit for facilitating 87% of the content created on “Joy.”
